Aroeira

This tree played a fundamental role in the economic development of Brazil in the 19th century due to its abundance throughout the country but it was so extensively explored that its cut was banned in 1992. This piece comes from a piece of furniture that was recycled. An interesting fact is that this wood can withstand 3 times more weight load than concrete. It has a beige-pinkish coloration dimming to reddish-brown with dark spots.
